J. Robert Beam
J. Robert Beam has been a Partner with the firm since 1965. He is a graduate of the Ohio Northern University (B.A., with distinction, 1958) and the Ohio Northern University School of Law (J.D., with high distinction, 1960). He was admitted to the practice of law in Ohio in 1960 and is also admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court, Northern and Southern Districts of Ohio. He is a member of the Muskingum County Bar Association (of which he was President in 1978) and the Ohio State Bar Association. His major practice areas include Business Law, Probate Law, and Estate Planning Law.
His civic activities include serving as past president of Jaycees, Kiwanis, the Zanesville-Muskingum County Chamber of Commerce, Zanesville Country Club, and founding trustee and past president of the Muskingum Community Foundation.
Bob was born in Morrow County, Ohio, and is married to Kayleen Beam. They have one son, Jeff Beam, who is also a Partner of the firm, and two grandchildren, Brandais and Nathan Beam.
